It’s that time of year again! Annual reports are now due and must be filed with the Florida Department of State. Below are the highlights of what you need to know:
Who Needs To File?
Every business that is registered to do business in Florida is required to file an annual report.
What is the Annual Report?
The Florida annual report is a way of updating your information with the Florida Secretary of State to ensure you are active and authorized to do business in the State of Florida.
When is the Report Due?
All Reports are due before May 1st.
Why do you File Your Report?
The purpose of the Report is to let the general public know who your authorized officers, directors, and managers are.
This is the time to update your information such as:
-add, delete, or change the names and/or addresses of the officers, directors, managers, and managing members,
-change your registered agent;
-change your principal or mailing address ; and/or
-add or change your federal employer identification number.
